Lin Xiaoman, a genius perfumer blacklisted for refusing to alter formulas for capital, receives an invitation from Gu Jinchuan, president of Gu's Group, to recreate his childhood “morning mist osmanthus scent”. She intends to refuse but discovers Gu is the “little glasses boy” who once saved her perfuming notes. Meanwhile, Gu's Group is in a counterfeiting crisis—her original formula is the only solution. Pretending to be a cold employer-perfumer pair, they rediscover their childhood bond in the lab. But when Gu learns she's the “genius girl” his father forced away, is this scent-mediated reunion redemption or a trap?
