Court musician Yunshu was exiled to a derelict courtyard for a decade over the “Lover Strings Case”. When the new emperor secretly investigates the old case, he disguises himself as a young eunuch to approach her. Through shared melodies, they grow close—until discovering each other’s true identities: he is the crown prince who once condemned her, and her zither strings hide a secret that could overthrow the dynasty. In the snow-cloaked courtyard, past grievances clash with newfound love, where every note may be fatal.
