Su Xiaoman, a exhausted office worker, finishes revising a proposal late at night. When she returns to her rental, she’s shocked—same house number, but the shabby room has turned into a luxury apartment. On the sofa sits Lu Jingshen, the school heartthrob she had a crush on for three years in high school, smiling and calling her, “Xiaoman, have some soup.” Worse still, her phone suddenly pops up a “Misplaced Life Repair System,” demanding she complete 10 “cohabitation tasks” with Lu to get her real life back. While complaining about the system, she’s forced to do silly tasks with him: burning tomato noodles, having his suit scratched by a cat, fixing the pipe at midnight… As they spend time together, Su finds out Lu is a rebirth—he missed her in his previous life due to shyness, so he used the system to “steal” her rental and restart their fate. Full of bickering and sweetness, is this “stolen cohabitation” a system’s joke or a destined reunion?
