Xia Xiaoman, a recent metaphysics graduate, takes a ghost-catching task at a psychic agency for her internship certificate—all to get a stable civil service job. But when she corners a rogue ghost in an old warehouse, the black mist merges with her wrist’s ancient jade—the Underworld’s lost Judge Seal! Now bound as a trainee judge, she juggles day jobs with odd clients and night shifts judging ghosts’ grievances: a girl scammed to death seeking revenge, an old father begging to clear his son’s name… Worse, her boss is an Underworld supervisor, threatening, “One wrong call, no certificate!” While complaining “this internship is harder than grad school,” Xia learns to see hearts as a judge—until she finds her missing sister (gone for three years) is linked to an unsolved judge case. Suddenly, this forced internship becomes an adventure for family and truth.
