Modern female designer Lin Xiaoman encounters an ancient coin-divining compass in an antique shop and awakens as the Fate Keeper—she was banished to the mortal world centuries ago for altering an emperor's destiny out of compassion, and now the world's cosmic balance collapses due to that old mistake, leaving only her to return and re-divine. However, her former adversary Gu Zhao, the God of Supervising Destiny, blocks her path, claiming she's "unworthy to hold the Fate Keeper's power." As they clash, Lin Xiaoman uncovers a conspiracy: her "mistake" was a frame-up, and Gu Zhao is the fairy boy who once pleaded for her but had his memory wiped… Together, they unravel the truth, correct the world's fortune with ancient coins, and reclaim their past bond.
