A man with the ability to retroactively experience crime scenes is forced to assist the police in hunting a serial killer. However, as he repeatedly immerses himself in the perpetrator's perspective, the line between justice and evil begins to blur. When the final retrospection points to someone he holds dear, he must confront whether he, too, is becoming another kind of 'sinner'.
