Lin Wei runs a second-hand bookstore in the old town, keeping her promise to teenage lover Chen Yuan year after year—waiting for his return. Back then, Chen Yuan worked overnight to raise money for her medical bills but lost contact due to an accident. Lin Wei thought he’d abandoned her and erased all memories. Ten years later, Chen Yuan, as founder of a cultural and creative company, returned to renovate the old alley and found a note Lin Wei had slipped in a book long ago. They reunited at the bookstore, with ten years of misunderstandings and longing, finally solving the past puzzle and meeting the delayed tenderness.
