In the centuries-old coastal town of Suocheng, summer winds carry the scent of shell carvings. Shen A'gong, an artisan who has run his shell carving workshop for 40 years, faces demolition by a foreign cultural and creative company that would bury his lifelong craft. Lin Xiaoman, a recent architecture graduate, enters the workshop for her graduation research and accidentally finds a broken shell carving left by A'gong's missing granddaughter, uncovering a 3-generation story of protection and regret. She nearly gets caught in the company's illegal schemes, but uses her expertise to turn the tide, safeguarding the old town's craftsmanship and warmth.
