Lin Wan was once the most dazzling "Moonlight Swan" in the ballet world, winning the International Golden Bauhinia Award at 18. But a car accident before her peak performance aggravated her old ankle injury, forcing her to retire. She hid in an old neighborhood, running a dance studio without a sign—covering her once luminous eyes with bangs, locking her pointe shoes in a trunk, even refusing to hang a mirror. Until rebellious teen Su Xiaoman banged on the door, calling her a "coward", yet secretly watched her old performance videos at night, sobbing, "I grew up in an orphanage. You knelt down to me and said 'You dance like a little star,' but why did you stop shining?" Staring at the bruises on Xiaoman's knees, Lin Wan touched her old scar—those buried lights had never gone out; they were just waiting for someone to lift her star again.
