Lin Xiaoman, a vintage item restorer, receives a retro makeup box engraved with "Sheng Yan". Inside, an old photo reveals a cheongsam-clad girl who looks identical to her. Tracing the clue leads her to Su Yuzhen, an elderly woman—her grandmother, who harbors a 50-year secret. Once the theater troupe's "Living Lin Daiyu", Su fell in love with photographer Chen Mo, but their promise of a "Sheng Yan (Eternal Bloom) photo shoot" was left unfulfilled when Chen was transferred to the border. Xiaoman decides to fulfill her grandmother's wish, only to discover her boyfriend Chen Yang is Chen Mo's grandson. Together, they recreate the 1973 theater backstage and the old sycamore tree in the alley. When Su puts on her old cheongsam and stands before the camera, Xiaoman realizes: "Sheng Yan" isn't just youthful beauty—it's the light of love, etched in time, never fading.
