Just after rejecting a blind date who was an ordinary office worker, Lin Xiao thought the trouble was over. One day, while drinking iced Americano in a cafe, a strange old lady claiming to be the blind date's mother suddenly recognized her in public as the 'fiancee of the rich family' of her deceased son, even presenting forged tokens to drag Lin Xiao to an engagement party, completely ignoring her denial. It turned out that the old lady's son died in an accident, and she, overwhelmed by grief, misrecognized Lin Xiao as the girl her son had mentioned. Fearing blame from her family, she staged this marriage farce. Caught between the crazy old lady and puzzled relatives, Lin Xiao wanted to clarify but also felt sympathetic, and a ridiculous farce thus unfolded.
