In crisis, he meets Ali, a Li ethnic girl—daughter of his grandpa’s late friend (whom grandpa had secretly helped). United by their common enemy, they gather evidence of the mine’s illegal pollution and deforestation. During the investigation, Lin Mo learns his grandpa’s death was no accident, with the mine owner as the mastermind. Their initial misunderstandings and arguments slowly bloom into love as they fight side by side. Finally, they expose the conspiracy, save the homeland, and their love takes root on this reborn land.
