Meteorologist Lin Shen returns to a southern Fujian town after seven years, determined to track down a "missing monsoon"—the very one he promised his first love, Shen Xiaoman: "When the monsoon passes the lighthouse, I'll come back to marry you." But he vanished without a word back then, leaving Xiaoman guarding the old weather station by the lighthouse, her heart closed off. Now, Lin Shen shows up with a broken monitor, only to find Xiaoman’s drawer filled with his annual meteorological papers. Little does she know, the monsoon swirling in his eyes hides an unspoken secret: during a typhoon, he saved her brother and suffered an eye disease that would gradually take his sight... When this year’s monsoon finally brushes the lighthouse, can they finally see the "unfinished" in each other’s eyes?
