Modern office worker Lin Yu, while testing the newly released palace intrigue game, accidentally connects her consciousness to Shen Yue, an ancient talented courtier with the same name, and gets involved in the fatal conspiracy of the imperial harem's succession dispute. In the original plot, Shen Yue will be framed and sentenced to death three days later. Lin Yu finds that she can rewind time and rewrite fate through "loading the file"——but every load attracts the attention of hidden forces in the palace, and she also realizes that the ancient conspiracy is far more dangerous than the game setting. Even she starts to have strange game-linked signs in reality, triggering a life-and-death duel across time and space.
