In the twilight of Tang Dynasty, court musician Tang Yue gets entangled in political intrigue through a melody called 'Rainbow Skirt'. When she discovers the song conceals a rebellion plot, she must choose between loyalty to the Crown Prince who favors her, and the mysterious lute master she loves.
