Modern special forces commander Lin Yuan and his team accidentally time-travel to the late Ming Dynasty. They initially aim to relieve starving people and resettle the displaced, building a small shelter. But right after feeding the folks, local bandits target their only granary. Meanwhile, Ming local officials label them rebels for breaking old rules. Will they defend the granary and beat the bandits, or blaze a new trail in this chaotic era? The modern soldiers rewrite the late Ming’s fate with every step, yet stay on the brink of life and death.
