Su Jing, an upright imperial censor, went missing on the eve of impeaching the prime minister for corruption. His sister Su Wan, determined to find him and clear his name, is forced to disguise herself as a man to take his place in court. She planned to investigate quietly, but on her first day, she stumbles upon the prime minister’s “secret ledger” hidden in a memorial—and accidentally turns the imperial court into a gossip scene: the Minister of Rites’ osmanthus cake falls out of his court robe, the general’s cat slips in and tears up the censorate’s documents, even the emperor leans over to ask, “Whose gossip is next?” As clues emerge, Su Wan discovers her brother’s disappearance is linked to all the powerful officials in the court. And her “gossip-style investigation” is pushing the hidden villain into a corner step by step……
