Su Xiaowan, a high-pressure advertising planner, finds her "late-night salvation" in Lin Shiyan, the owner of "Warm Alley Coffee" downstairs. He remembers her order—"less sugar, more milk, warm cup"—keeps a light on for her when she works overtime till midnight, and hands her a honey-turmeric latte when her proposal gets rejected, saying, "After bitterness, you need something sweet." One night, she misses the last bus, and Lin offers to drive her home. On the way, she discovers this man, who always gives her warmth, has secretly collected all her emotional notes left in the shop. Just as she hesitates to confess, Lin takes out the 36th sketch of "Wanwan Latte": "I drew this every day while waiting for you. Would you be its exclusive recipe?"
