Single father Lin Jianguo is fed up with his truant, rebellious teenage son Lin Xiaoyu. He secretly enrolls as a transfer student in Xiaoyu’s high school class to fix his son’s bad habits up close. On his first day, Xiaoyu’s deskmate mistakes him for a new student and strikes up a conversation. Panicked, Jianguo blurts out "Hey Classmate, I'm Your Dad", blowing their cover immediately. What follows is a string of hilarious mix-ups as dad plays the role of a classmate while Xiaoyu is forced to act as the "parent", finally letting the awkward father and son drop their guards and understand each other’s hidden care.
