Documentary director Lin Shen notices his wife Su Xiaowan's strange behavior recently. After following her, he catches her cheating with her boss in a hotel and films the whole thing. When he breaks in with the camera, Su Xiaowan gasps and begs for forgiveness, but Lin Shen doesn't see the cancer diagnosis she's hiding behind her back—she only gave in to her boss to raise money for Lin Shen's bankrupt company. Behind the exposed footage are two hearts torn apart by fate, and when the truth is revealed, all lies become knives stabbing each other.
