Lin Xiaoman, a down-and-out antique shop owner, is on the verge of bankruptcy due to his grandfather’s huge debt—until he accidentally gains a perspective ability: he can hear fakes “complain”! A fake Ru kiln vase shouts, “My glaze has industrial dye!” A “Qing Dynasty” bronze censer wails, “My base was glued yesterday!” Using this power, he finds real Song Dynasty porcelain and exposes scams, but is labeled a “fraud” by Su Wan, a cold treasure-appraisal heiress. From rivalry to teaming up against a fake antique syndicate, the fakes’ “chattering” brings laughter. Lin even discovers his grandfather’s debt is linked to the syndicate’s mastermind… A sweet, hilarious underdog story where fakes tell the truth begins!
