Retired Grandma Lin Zhaodi is a "dance fanatic" who goes to the square dance team every morning, only to be mocked by the captain for "dancing like slow-motion" and nagged by her daughter: "Stop troubling yourself at this age." Until one day, a young dance teacher in leggings comes to the community, stands before the team and shouts: "Square dance isn’t real dance!" Angered, Grandma takes off her coat, steps on stage, and unfurls the water sleeves hidden in her bag. Her "Stunning Goose Dance" with flying sleeves even makes the sparrows on the tree stop to watch—turns out she was the gold medalist of the 1985 National Folk Dance Competition, who locked her trophy in a box for 30 years to take care of her premature daughter. Now, she’s the square dance team’s "coach," and her daughter’s Douyin videos of her dancing have gone viral. Grandma smiles: "I’m not dancing—I’m releasing the 'energy' I’ve held in for half my life!"
