A-Gui, an optimistic deliveryman, works busily to support his family and leads an ordinary yet busy life. One day, he accidentally awakens an "occult skill" that allows him to communicate with ghosts and perceive spiritual traces at crime scenes. What he thought was a small surprise drags him into a three-year-old missing person case after delivering a weird order to an abandoned old building. To fulfill the order and uncover the hidden truth of his own background, he is forced to team up with Lu Ye, a rigid detective who never believes in supernatural forces. With "nether clues" invisible to others, the two gradually piece together the truth amid constant conflicts, and eventually find that A-Gui’s unique skill is the key to solving the case.
