Lin Mo, a modern electronics geek, accidentally travels back to 1990 when China’s electronic industry was just emerging. Intending to shine with future tech, he finds his parents’ small electronic factory on the verge of bankruptcy. Labeled a “fraud”, he uses advanced circuit designs to transform the factory and gets involved in a secret struggle over early domestic chip R&D. Between the tides of the era and family duties, he aims to save his family, launch his own electronic era in 1990, and rewrite his parents’ fate.
