Lin Shen, a former marine expedition technical backbone, joined a polar night expedition to the Bering Sea three years ago. During the mission, his teammate went missing mysteriously and the lab module was destroyed. The authorities closed the case as an extreme weather accident hastily. Unable to accept the doubts, he returns to the now fully-sealed old research station.
