Selected for demolition, the century-old Bawei Noodle House welcomes Gu Yan, a rigid food inspector. He arrives to approve the demolition by labeling the old shop as non-compliant, but in every flavorful bowl of noodles, he discovers the secret wrapped in taste by shop owner Lin Xiaoman and her grandmother: every spice ties to neighborhood joys and sorrows, every hot noodle holds cross-generational care. Gu Yan's strict principles clash with warm human touches. As they tussle over demolition vs. preservation, love blooms, and they uncover the past between Gu's grandfather and Lin's grandmother. Together, they save the old neighborhood and the warmth hidden in every flavor.
