After losing his job, young Lin Mo is forced by a dishonest landlord to move out. To keep the fish pond left by his late father, he makes a bet: if a rainstorm helps him clear rent debts, the landlord will waive one year's rent. Unexpectedly, a rare heavy rainstorm hits, swelling the pond's water level. Lin Mo pulls out valuable aquatic products hidden at the pond's bottom, pays off all debts, and forces the short-sighted, greedy landlord to pay huge liquidated damages. He gives the landlord a humiliating slap in the face with a stunning counterattack, delivering a satisfying underdog story.
