Lin Xiaomai, who grew up helping his grandma run a time-honored ice cream shop, accidentally finds clues about his missing mother in the family secret recipe while sorting old items. A multinational dessert group eyeing the recipe launches a crackdown: poaching key staff, smearing the shop’s reputation, trying to drive the old store out of business. To save his family’s business and find the truth, Lin is forced to join the national ice cream contest to fight rivals, and meets Su Xiao — a mysterious person also investigating the recipe’s secrets. They go from mutual wariness to teamwork, upset opponents to win the championship, uncover the truth behind his mother’s disappearance, and finally become the real ice cream king.
