Lin Wan, who quit her job to relax, rushed back home after learning her mother had a sudden cerebral infarction. Back in her hometown, she found her mother clutching an old photo, unwilling to explain. Neighbors’ evasions and her mother’s half-confessed medical record made Lin Wan—who had left home in a huff years ago due to a misunderstanding—fall into self-doubt. This delayed homecoming became a reunion for the mother and daughter to break years of estrangement, and the long-missing spring sunlight finally warmed their hearts again.
