On a snowstormy Lunar New Year's Eve, Lin Xiao, a food delivery rider, finds an old aluminum lunchbox with a faint cross pattern in a remote alley on her way back after the last order. The half-old photo with bloodstains inside leads to a ten-year-old cold case: Lin's grandfather was a witness of the case but lost his ability to speak due to an accident, and the owner of the lunchbox is exactly the suspect on the run back then! Lin takes risks to seek clues and meets Chen, a retired police officer in seclusion. Together, they dig out the truth in minus twenty-degree coldness—uncovering her grandfather's secret muteness and finding the suspect is hiding in the old community where Lin delivers food every day. The entangled justice and family love are slowly revealed with howling snowstorms.
