A remote village is scammed by a fraudulent drilling contractor who defrauds villagers of high contracting fees under the guise of building an irrigation project. The villagers, after draining their savings, get only a dry well and fall into despair. During repairs to the abandoned well, Lin Qiang, a drilling worker, triggers an unexpected water source—a miraculous spring with sweet water that can cure ailments. He seizes the chance to gather evidence to expose the fraud, then develops a rural revitalization project with the spring and completely turns around the village's fate.
