In a southern ancient town, Azhi, inheritor of intangible cultural heritage zongzi making, guards her family’s century-old zongzi shop. She faces a crisis that Lu’s Group, a real estate and investment firm, wants to acquire the old house to build a commercial street. Arguing for her shop with the unique aroma of traditional zongzi, she finds Lu Shi, the head of Lu’s, is her childhood sweetheart who exchanged tokens with her at the Dragon Boat Festival market years ago. Lu Shi initially wanted to revitalize the town with modern methods, but is moved by Azhi’s persistence. They work together to save the old shop and rekindle their long-lost romance.
