Lin Xi, who suffered a setback in urban work, returned to her hometown feeling dejected. She accidentally discovered her grandmother’s old tea garden with a time-honored tea-making recipe on the verge of being lost. Intending to live a quiet life, she clashed fiercely with her childhood friend A Ming, a rural agricultural technician advocating technological innovation, over the garden’s upgrade: she feared the recipe would be diluted by modern tech, while he believed the garden needed transformation to survive. They developed feelings amid the bickering, jointly foiled a malicious capital acquisition plot, and finally turned the old tea garden into a rural cultural tourism project, fulfilling their return-to-mountain dream.
