While sorting through his old belongings, Ka Rong finds a firefly jar he picked up with Lin Qiunai a decade ago, instantly falling into the summer night memory filled with cicadas, evening breeze and glowworms. Back then, the two young and green friends promised to watch stars together on summer nights, but Ka Rong had to move abroad with his family suddenly, never daring to confess his long-hidden love.
