When the apocalypse hits, order collapses, supplies run scarce, and humans are reduced to prey at the bottom of the food chain. Ordinary survivor Lin Mo accidentally awakens the "Beast Taming System" in a desperate situation, facing the out-of-control ancient fierce beast Qiongqi right at the start. The "calamity star" beast everyone avoids becomes Lin Mo's strongest support in the wasteland overrun by zombies and mutated beasts. He unlocks Qiongqi's special abilities via the system, fights his way out, transforms from being seen as ill-omened by teammates to the team's core, and uncovers the truth behind Qiongqi's arrival and the huge conspiracy hiding the apocalypse.
