A down-and-out fisherman Lin Mo, to pay off his debts, is forced to buy an abandoned wharf that no one values, becoming a laughingstock among neighbors and bringing grievances to his family. Unexpectedly, a rare wild grouper weighing 300 jin hides in the old cage of the wharf, attracting covetousness from various speculators. Lin Mo stays calm to protect the fish, turns it into a hit specialty aquatic product, pays off his debts, achieves a life comeback via a new fishing business, and slaps all those who look down on him.
