Modern man Lin Yue accidentally travels to Zhaoge in the late Shang Dynasty, when the Investiture of the Gods Calamity starts. To gain traffic, he launches the live stream *Diary of Survival in Zhaoge*, only to meet the real Daji who’s not the seductive fox concubine in legends but has her own will suppressed by the fox spirit. Lin Yue comes up with a crazy idea: kidnap Daji via live stream to break the destined fate. This plan triggers manhunts from both the Celestial Cult and the fox clan. Lin Yue flees with Daji in Zhaoge, and every live stream affects the fate of the Three Realms, kicking off a counter-Investiture uprising.
