Lin Xiaoman, a renowned skinflint who clings to every penny, lives by hoarding all she has. After taking over her late grandmother's antique shop, she meets Gu Shiyan, who comes searching for his father's relic. Gu, seemingly carefree, always "sabotages" her money-saving moves, forcing her to pay for antique repairs and help the elderly sell old items. Gradually, her obsession with money fades. When she finds her grandma's diary noting "Helping others is more valuable than saving money", she realizes "guarding wealth" is fear of loss, while "guarding heart" is where she truly belongs. Their bumpy interactions turn them from rivals to each other's soft spot, and the old clock in the shop starts ticking tenderly for love.
