Lin Xi, a skilled traditional dessert maker, runs a tiny shop called "Warm Sweet" at the end of an old city alley. For ten years, she has used soft taro balls and warm gingerbread to comfort neighbors' daily lives. Due to the old city renovation plan, her shop faces demolition, and a newly opened chain dessert shop at the alley entrance is quietly poaching customers with low prices. Lin Xi retains old customers with traditional skills and accidentally finds her grandma's old recipe, uncovering the secrets of the city's old days hidden in the shop. Eventually, she keeps the shop and warms the whole city with her kindness again.
