Chen Amin, a good-for-nothing idling at the fishing port, not only fails to catch fish for long but also owes a large debt to the fishing cooperative. Even Su Xiaoxiao, the village girl he’s crushed on for years, avoids him, deeming him hopeless. Until he finds the ancestral fish-patterned jade pendant in the port reefs, accidentally unlocking his extraordinary ability to identify fish and predict sea conditions. His first voyage with his old boat is fully loaded with fish, and he uncovers the long-secret sunken ship treasure at the port. Later, he counterattacks with his boat, teams up with Su Xiaoxiao who once looked down on him, fights against illegal fishing tycoons monopolizing the sea, finally becomes the renowned Gulf Fishing King, and gains this belated sweet love.
