Lin Xiaoman runs a small rice and toppings shop in an old alley, her peaceful life disrupted by a mysterious regular. Every time A Zhe orders the signature "Ruthless Rice Bowl", he brings a faded old lunch box, looking indifferent yet glancing frequently at the old photo on Xiaoman's counter. Xiaoman slowly finds A Zhe holds clues to her mother's long-term disappearance. A yellowed traffic ticket lifts the veil of her family's past incident, revealing a buried story of "ruthlessness" and "debt". When Xiaoman serves the specially modified "Warm Rice Bowl", A Zhe's tearful "Mom" brings all truths crashing down.
