Female designer Su Wan returns to her hometown Maixi Village after 10 years as her grandpa is critically ill. During the wheat ripening season, she finds her childhood friend Jiang Chen, who’s doubted by villagers for project setbacks. To keep her promise to lift villagers out of poverty, Su Wan quits her well-paid city job to lead an agriculture-tourism project, but is sabotaged by local interest groups.
