Lin Xiaoman runs a small noodle shop in an alley, with her father seriously ill and debts threatening to seize the shop. She boils bone broth at dawn daily, makes every bowl carefully, helps lonely seniors and offers free noodles to single-parent kids. A food blogger on undercover visit stops by, dislikes the shabby shop at first, but tastes filial piety, kindness and persistence in her special soup noodles. When a creditor comes to demand payment, Lin warms the furious man with a bowl of hot noodles. Finally, she gains understanding and becomes an online celebrity shop via the blogger’s video, warming herself and the whole alley.
