At a farewell banquet arranged by her grandma, Lin Xiaoman serves her younger sister—who’s leaving for a new life in another city—a plate of grandma’s signature “farewell dumplings”. She accidentally bites into a half-faded note hidden in the filling, with handwriting pointing to the rainy night when her father went missing a decade ago. The police ruled it an “accident”, but many doubts remain, and grandma has never mentioned it since. Xiaoman secretly investigates without telling grandma, only to receive strange warnings, and this dumpling, filled with love and secrets, becomes the only key to unearth the buried truth.
