The peaceful Yunxi Village is in turmoil over a developer's demolition plan, but village leaders secretly plot to mine mountains and sell the land. Lin Mo, a young migrant worker, returns overnight upon learning the truth. To prevent the village from being destroyed, he smashes the only old bridge linking to the outside world, trapping villagers inside. This act sparks outrage and debate: some denounce him as reckless, others admire his boldness, and more villagers step forward to expose the conspiracy. Forced to unite despite their hidden agendas, the villagers fight for their hometown on the broken bridge.
