Amnesiac painter Lin Wanxing meets mysterious man Chen Mo at the flea market. He clutches a photo of a girl who looks exactly like Lin, calling her "Axing". Lin finds her paintings always repeat the same eerie starry sky, while Chen Mo follows her closely, trying to figure out the identity of the girl who saved him from a fire five years ago. As memory fragments piece together, Lin is shocked to realize she is exactly Axing, the one saved in that fire. Chen Mo has long placed his love on that girl back then, and now he falls into the paradox of cross-time love and truth with her who shares the same name.
