After her breakup, Lin Wan seeks solace in Lu Zhao, a quiet, impoverished younger student—his tenderness is like sugar-coated medicine, gradually mending her broken heart. But just as she finally gathers the courage to kiss his warm lips, Lu Zhao suddenly pins her against the wall, his eyes red and voice trembling: “Sister, when you kissed me... my brother’s heart was about to explode.” Lin Wan is horrified to discover that Lu Zhao and the man she’s been desperate to forget share a “sympathetic” ability—every heartbeat she feels for Lu Zhao echoes in the other man. Now, she’s trapped between the comfort of the present and the ghosts of the past, unsure which heart truly belongs to her.
