In the old alley of Joyful Town, Long Xi, owner of the dessert shop "Sweet Garden" left by her grandma, keeps the alley's warmth alive with osmanthus lotus root and an old postbox. Until architect Chen Boqiao breaks in with a "Old Alley Renovation Plan"—he wants to tear down the sugar painting stall, remove the bluestone slabs, and turn the alley into a网红 commercial district. From confrontation to searching for the alley's "living memories" together: Long Xi uses a bowl of osmanthus lotus root to唤起 Chen Boqiao's memories of his childhood neighbor grandma; Chen Boqiao secretly revises the design plan to include the wooden sign of "Sweet Garden". On the day of the public announcement, Chen Boqiao holds the "Joyful Town Map" they drew together in kindergarten and smiles: "I'm not here to tear down the alley, but to keep the promise of stealing osmanthus honey when we were kids." It turns out they are long-lost "honey friends". The old alley remains, and sweetness returns first.
