Qiao Jiale, a night shift clerk at a convenience store, spends his nights watching the 3 AM streetlights—until he meets Shi Yueyue, who always buys taro milk tea. She wears a knit hat, speaks in a voice so soft it feels weightless, and even her smile carries a distant hint of “about to vanish.” He secretly memorizes her habits: taro milk tea with three parts sugar, detouring around puddles on rainy days, and squatting outside the store for ten minutes to calm down after overtime. But when he finally works up the courage to hand her a sticky note saying “Want to have breakfast together?”, Shi Yueyue disappears without a trace. It turns out she’s hiding a secret about “saying goodbye,” and those “little lucks” Qiao Jiale thought he was giving are actually the “last light” she’s fighting to hold onto. When the truth comes out, can his simplest persistence turn “temporary warmth” into “a lifetime of luck”?
