Huang Lele, an independent bookstore owner with "hug anxiety," has been trapped in the shadow of her lover Wang Yubo's sudden disappearance ten years ago. Until one day, Wang Yubo pushes open the bookstore door, clutching *Starry Night Notes*—the book they once promised to read together. The man who once made her withdraw into herself now stubbornly volunteers at the store, secretly repairing the memory letters she tore up years ago. Just as Huang Lele lowers her guard, she discovers a fatal secret: Wang Yubo only has three months left to live, and he’s here to fulfill the "last hug" he never got to give. What she doesn’t know is that his disappearance ten years ago was actually a helpless choice—he had to save her from a car accident.
